ARCH HOUSES
Since beginning operations, Hýsi has sold dozens of arch houses that have been used for all kinds of purposes across the country. Arch houses are exceptionally cost-effective to build and are in all likelihood the most affordable structures available on the market. Available in a range of sizes and colours, insulated or uninsulated. All arch houses are made to order.
Arch houses are custom-designed to the buyer’s specifications and must be drawn, structurally engineered and submitted to the relevant planning authorities for approval, as with any comparable structure. Hýsi can handle architectural drawings, structural engineering, and plumbing and electrical drawings on request. Hýsi does not, however, carry out groundworks or foundation work. For larger arch houses, installation can be arranged on request.
Hýsi has, in collaboration with the manufacturer, designed a 5-meter wide arch house available both insulated and uninsulated. The buildings are constructed on a 500 mm foundation and have a door opening of 275×275 mm. The standard size is 5×6 meters, extendable in 3-meter increments. Five standard widths are available: 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 meters. Length is tailored to individual requirements.
The arch frame is constructed from primed 3″ and 4″ steel tubes, HEA120 or IPE180 beams (depending on width), with 2″x4″ or 2″x5″ purlins. Maximum spacing between arch frames is 3 meters, subject to site conditions. Cladding consists of galvanized and lacquered 0.56 mm steel sheets. Several colour options are available — using two or more base colours can give the building a distinctive look (see Colours and Cladding for more). Gable ends are constructed from 3″ or 4″ steel tubes with 2″x4″ or 2″x5″ purlins, clad with galvanized and lacquered 0.56 mm steel sheets and secured with angle brackets and/or plug welds
Doors are generally mounted on a sliding track with a bottom guide, constructed from a 45×95 mm profile and clad with steel plates. Pedestrian and industrial doors are supplied in the sizes and configurations requested by the buyer. A wide range of options is available.
Buildings can be supplied both insulated and uninsulated directly from the manufacturer.

Polyester lacquer, RAL colour system. Interior face is white.
Transparent polycarbonate sheets available from stock in 90 x 322 cm. Other lengths available on request.
CLADDING
Surface cladding:
Corrugated galvanized steel sheets, 76/18 mm profile, 0.56 mm thickness.
Sheets are fixed with approximately 6 fasteners per square meter.
