Rock wool panels are most commonly used for partition walls requiring EI60, EI90 or EI120 fire resistance. Rock wool panels are also a good choice where acoustic performance is a consideration.  <\/p>\n<p>PIR panels are classified B-s1, d0 and meet EI30 fire resistance requirements. The key advantage of PIR panels is their very high insulation value \u2014 up to twice that of rock wool panels.
