CONSIDERATIONS FOR STEEL FRAME CONSTRUCTION
There is a lot to think through when it comes to the design, material selection and detailing of steel frame buildings. Hýsi’s team works with clients to develop all the key aspects, so the architect can move forward efficiently to complete the building in a practical and cost-effective way. If required, Hýsi can manage the full design process in collaboration with the client and its partners.

Design
Architectural drawings, structural engineering, electrical drawings, mechanical drawings and fire safety design.
Structural Frame
Painting, galvanizing and fire protection.
Purlins
Z-purlins, sigma-purlins and high deck.
Exterior Cladding
PIR or rock wool sandwich panels. Considerations include insulation value, fire protection, acoustics, appearance, color and coating thickness. Trapezoidal cladding with a bonded vapor barrier on the interior face to prevent condensation (uninsulated structures). Translucent panels to bring natural light into the building.
Partition Walls
Fire resistance requirements: EI60, EI90 and EI120.
Flashings
Flashing colors, profiles and cladding colors.
Design
