ARCH SHELTERS
Arch shelters from Rundbuehaller are exceptionally cost-effective structures. Suitable for a wide range of uses — an ideal solution as an outdoor shelter or weather protection for livestock and outdoor activities. Available with or without a front gable, making them well suited for use as cold storage as well.
Under building regulations, a building permit or construction authorization must be obtained for all structures larger than 15 m². In such cases, the client is responsible for hiring a designer to produce the necessary drawings and submit them to the relevant building authority. The manufacturer does not provide any documentation beyond installation instructions in this regard.
We encourage clients to review Building Regulations Section 2.3.
SOLID CONSTRUCTION AND EASY INSTALLATION
Arch frames are erected on a sturdy steel base frame and clad with rolled steel sheets. Gable ends are fitted with cut-to-size panels. A standard tractor with equipment can be driven directly into the shelter, and the structure can be relocated easily if purchased with the optional lifting attachment. Delivered unassembled with installation instructions included.
The shelter must be securely anchored against wind and weather. Site selection should take prevailing wind direction into account. Concrete ground anchors are commonly used and are available from, among other suppliers, for example here: www.dvergarnir.is
The shelters are available in different lengths and can be extended by 1.5 meters at a time. Height can also be increased by 50 cm, from 3.15 to 3.65 meters. Standard color is green, RAL6009. Other colors available on request. Gable panels for the standard-height models are delivered cut to size in RAL 6009 only. Other colors must be cut to size on site during installation.
Estimated delivery time from the manufacturer: 6–8 weeks.
Confirmation deposit: 30% at time of order.

COLORS
Polyester varnish, RAL color system. The back is white in color.
We can provide transparent polycarbonate sheets in the size 90 x 322 cm, the sheets have the same ribbing and cladding as the curved housings from Hýsi.
CLOTHING
Surface cladding:
Corrugated iron sheets 76/18 mm. 0.56 mm thick.
The panels are attached with approximately 6 seams per square meter.
