Insulated panels or sandwich panels are a common and very suitable solution for external walls, partition walls and roof cladding in various types of buildings. Hýsi sells insulated panels for all types of buildings with both rock wool and PIR (Polyisocyanurate) cores.
When choosing insulation modules, there are many things to consider. The modules must meet the requirements of the buyer and building regulations regarding insulation values, fire protection and acoustics, for example. There are also many different designs available, for example, in the appearance of the modules, colors and thickness of the coating. Hýsi makes offers for a complete solution for each project, which includes offers for appropriate insulation modules, overlays and fasteners, along with the design of the modules for the building.

Rock wool insulation is classified as A2-s1, d0 and is therefore well suited where fire protection requirements are high. Rock wool insulation is most commonly used for partition walls where EI60, EI90 or EI120 fire resistance is required. Rock wool insulation is a good choice when acoustics are a concern.
PIR insulation blocks are in class B-s1,d0 and meet EI30 fire requirements. The advantages of PIR insulation blocks are that they have a very high insulation value, up to twice as much as mineral wool insulation blocks. PIR insulation blocks are denser and easier to handle.
