Glulam houses from Hýsi are a very good choice when it comes to speed of construction, warmth, simplicity and quality. We only use quality products in our house.
All designs are focused on building high-quality housing that meets all building code requirements while minimizing construction time as much as possible. The houses are clad with either PIR or rock wool insulation units that come with all the fixings, fasteners and screws. All partition walls and/or floor can be included in the purchase if requested.
Hýsi sells the houses as a complete solution from the ground up to a closed house, so that all interior, exterior and industrial doors and windows come with the houses. If requested, Hýsi can also offer installation of the premises and take care of construction management.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTING GLUMENTED TIMBER HOUSES
There are many things to consider when it comes to the design, choice of materials, and finishing of glued laminated timber houses. Hýsi employees assist clients in developing all the main aspects so that the architect can proceed in an orderly manner to complete the building in an economical and feasible manner. If requested, Hýsi can handle the entire design of the premises in collaboration with the buyer and its partners.
Examples of factors that need to be considered in this regard include:
Design
Architectural drawings, structural design, electrical drawings, plumbing drawings and fire design.
Structural elements
Self-supporting frame, lightweight frame with columns, CNC cut and pre-drilled, painted in the color of your choice.
Exterior cladding
PIR or rock wool units. Insulation value, fire protection, acoustics, appearance, color, coating thickness.
Trapezoidal cladding with a glued moisture-wicking fabric on the inside that prevents drips (uninsulated construction).
Light panels that let light into the building. Smoke emission.
Partitions
Fire requirements, EI60, EI90 and EI120.
